SERVICE AGREEMENT

Preamble

1.1 This agreement comes into effect with the payment of the first, non-refundable installment, per the payment advice sent out by Jakobs Villas.

1.2 Jakobs Villas act as agent between the holiday home owner and the holiday maker. Jakobs Villa is not the owner of the holiday home, but has certain implicit and explicit rights acting on behalf of the holiday home owner.

Cancellation

By the holiday maker:

2.1 In the case of cancellation after the payment of the first installment; refunds will be paid according to the following schedule:

2.1.1 Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival to holiday home: 0% refund.

2.1.2 Cancellation between 31 days and 60 days before arrival to holiday home: 50% refund the second installment less bank charges.

2.1.3 Cancellation more than 61 days before arrival to holiday home: 100% refund of the second installment less bank charges.

By Jakobs Villas:

2.2 In the unlikely event that the holiday home should not be available after the booking has been confirmed, the holiday maker will be offered an alternative of equal or better standing for no extra cost.

2.2.1 If that is not desired the entire amount paid to Jakobs Villas will be returned to the holiday maker less a 5% service charge.

Security deposit

3.1 Our holiday home owners require that we hold a security deposit. This security deposit will be returned no sooner than 14 days after the departure of the holiday home. Your security deposit will be transferred to your bank account.

3.2 Any possible damages and extra costs will be deducted this security deposit.

During stay

4.1 Unless otherwise specified in writing, you can arrive to the holiday home from 15:00 on your arrival day, but must leave it at the latest at 11:00 on your departure day.

4.2 Remember that our holiday homes are private homes and that you are there as a guest. Keep noise to a minimum and be mindful of neighbors as you would be in your own home. Complaints about noise and other unacceptable behavior is something we look at very seriously, and it will almost always result in a deduction from your security deposit.

4.3 Most of our holiday homes are non-smoking and not suitable for pets. Please respect this and contact us to get express written permission to bring a pet.

4.4 When your stay has come to an end, please tidy up the place and make sure that you have done the dishes and taken the garbage out. Return the key as instructed.

5.1 While we do our best to keep the information on our website and pictures as accurate as possible, we cannot accept any responsibilities for errors or changes. Minor differences between photographs, text and actual property may arise. If we have been informed of material changes after your booking we will advise you before departure.

5.2 Jakobs Villas acts as the agent for the owner and cannot accept responsibility for any damages, theft, death or loss suffered by the holiday maker. It is the responsibility of the holiday maker to be adequately insured.
